MOSCOW, May 12 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has allowed Russian agricultural holding Rusagro to buy 100% in two more sugar plants from agricultural producer Razgulay Group – the Kshen Sugar Plant and the Krivets-Sakhar plant, the service said in a statement on Thursday.
No details of the deals were provided.
In late 2015, troubled Razgulay put some of its assets up for sale. In March, Rusagro – the owner of about 20% in Razgulay – said it will purchase three Razgulay’s sugar plants in the Oryol and Kursk regions and 86,000 hectares of land around the plants.
